Postcrossing Postcard

I don't know if any of you participate in Postcrossing or not, but I personally love it.

With Postcrossing, you create an account and you are basically given addresses of different people around the world to send a postcard to. You can request a single or even multiple addresses.

Then, once the postcard you have sent is received, and that user logs into their account and records your postcard, you will then receive a postcard from a random person somewhere in the world.

I haven't shared much of my Postcrossing activity on my blog, but I think I may begin to make this a regular thing. I am always super excited about the cards I receive. Some of them are so amazing. Sometimes they ever some from some of the most random and remote parts of the world. I find this to be super interesting. Plus, it's always great to get fun stuff in the mail, anything other than bills and "official" mail.

Today I received a new card. This one came from Erica in Michigan. I think this is a lovely card showing off the skyline of Detroit.

These are also a few of my other favorites that I have received in the past.

This one is from the Netherlands.

And this one is from China.

This one is also from the Netherlands.

What about you guys? Any interesting hobbies of web sites to share?

Getting outside in the Spring-time

A few weeks ago, for my husband's birthday, we made a couple of great purchases.

We bought bicycles for the both of us. Since January, we have been paying more attention to our health, and making a conscious effort to be more active and exercise more.

This is the bike that I picked out...and I LOVE it!

I love the old-timey look to it, while it still looks modern and fun. The seat is comfortable and the handles are situated where I am sitting pretty straight as I ride.

We have a walking track, literally, right across the street from our apartment complex, so we have no excuse for not getting out of the house and riding. And, I must say, I have been very proud of us since we bought these bikes. For the past 3-4 weeks, we have gotten out and ridden about three or four days a week. I think that's pretty good. And the weather has been pretty amazing as well. We have had fabulous, fresh, spring-time weather for the past few weeks. It has been great.

How about you? Do you have any outside activities that you love? We are always looking for new and interesting activities, so we welcome any suggestions.

March Birchbox

I received my March Birchbox this weekend. Was it just me, or did anyone else feel like their took a little longer to receive this month? Who knows? It may have just been me.

Anyway, overall, I was pretty pleased this month. I got a couple of really great items that I am super excited bout, and a few other interesting items that I am eager to try out.

The first thing that I am really excited about this month is the awesome neutral shade of RGB nail polish. I think this color is called "Buff." I don't often paint my nails with crazy, attention-getting colors, but I love a good neutral shade that makes my nails look nice.

The other item that I am really pumped about this month is this little bottle of Orofluido. This is a little magical     elixir that does amazing things to your hair. I LOVE THIS STUFF! And, it smells pretty awesome, too. I used this on my hair today and the scent has lingered all day long.

This month's box also included a  perfume sample. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this scent. I mean, it's OK. But, I just don't think this is something I would wear very often, if at all.

There was also a pretty good moisture included. This product is by AHAVA. You're supposed to use it after daily cleansing. I haven't tried this one yet, I think I might do that tonight before I go to bed. It does smell nice...kind of like baby powder.

I also get a sample of cleansing scrub from Nia 24. I tried this one yesterday and I liked it. I'll probably keep using it. The grittiness of it really felt like it was helping my skin. The description on the included card reads it "uses a patented niacin-based complex and gentle jojoba beads to overhaul tired skin." I guess I have pretty overhauled and tired skin, because this stuff felt pretty good.

And lastly, there were tea samples in this box from Tea Forte. There were three different flavors; cherry marzipan, cucumber mint, and honey yuzu. I, personally, am not much of a tea drinker. That being said, I don't think I can give a fair opinion of this product. My husband, however, loves tea; tea of all kinds. So, when I showed him these samples, he seemed rather pleased and excited to try them. So, when he does...I'll have to report back with his opinion. Until then, I can just show a picture...

All in all, this was a pretty good month and I am pretty excited about these products.

How about you guys? Did you receive anything different? Did you get anything you absolutely love or hate?

If you haven't read it yet...do it!

It's fabulous!

I think I might like it more than The Hunger Games! *Gasp*
